G'day everyone

I hope this journal finds you all happy and well.
My fortnightly journals have unavoidably turned out to be my monthly journals of late due to elements beyond my control, one of them being time.
So, June is now over and I am currently on some self imposed R&R. It was either that or my sanity. I had hoped that by now I would have wound down enough to get back into my art but all the things I have been putting off around the house and general running around has deemed otherwise. I have another week off and hope to get creative in that time but for now I just need to relax and unwind and get my head in a good place again. At least I've put the rusty fork away ...for now lol.
I bought myself a well earned present......a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet. I'm still in 2 minds about it though. I am so used to using my super sensitive magnetic mouse that just glides across the pad like satin and so familiar with its habits that I am finding the Wacom rather clumsy. I know i have to persevere with it and I also know that many people use ONLY the tablet and nothing else for just about every PC function known to man. I wish I could feel that comfortable with it but right now Im doubtful I would or could ever get to that point. Time will tell whether this was a wise purchase for me or just a frivolous "must have".
In other news and just as a side mention. I just recently passed my one year anniversary in DA. To say that this has been an incredible journey through this year is an understatement. I have found many new friends, genuine people who care as human beings and who have shared of themselves privately, in their artwork, in support and greatly appreciated tips and techniques but most of all as friends whom I am proud and honoured to have as my extended family. You have all been here for me when I have needed a prod and a poke, a kind word of comfort or a good laugh. For all those things I thank you all and hope that for most part I havent let you down from my side in reciprocating and being all those things to you as well. Enough of the mushy stuff.....just....THANK YOU !!
I would like to thank all the wonderful Deviants in here who over the last month have feature my work in their journals and also in news articles. You all know who you are and I thank you as always for your wonderful friendship and support.

In closing, and as always, thanks again to you all, my friends and watchers for your support and encouragement in my work. I always look forward to seeing your deviations as much as I do sharing mine with you.
Take care everyone, stay safe, look after yourselves and remember..........Happy Deviations

Hugs to all

Just kidding. For real; thank you.
On a side note... I actually read your journal entry... what's this about a magnetic mouse thats all super sensitive? Mind hooking me up with some info on that?
I have a WACOM tablet and frankly; I hate it. I've had it for over a year and I just find it clumsy, uncomfortable, and inaccurate. I know tons of people use them but my wireless Logitech wireless MX laser mouse does the trick for me. It's not a fancy piece of hardware by any means but I know I can depend on it.
However I'm always interested in a more accurate mouse like you described. I often myself "stuttering," if that makes sense.
Thanks again for the feature, and yeah... shed some light on your gear, mannnn.
