I arrived home from work tonight to the most wonderful surprise and have been totally blown away by it. My first DA gift.....a print of this gorgeous photograph:

G'day everyone
I hope this journal finds you all happy and well.

Well its overdue that I update my journal. This last month has been a bitch workwise and lots of things happening around me here beyond my control that have kept me from my art. I have decided that June has been and is my "Horriblus Monthus" and as far as I'm concerned I cant wait for it to be over. I'm hoping (all things going well) that I can swing a few weeks off in July so I can relax and recharge my batteries and stop wanting to stab everything and everyone with a rusty fork lol.

To add insult to injury by IE browser has been giving me untold grief the last week and doing the wierdest things to my pc. I have no virus (confirmed by my own scanner as well as 2 other online scanners) yet its doing crazy things to my pc. I have come to the conclusion that since I run an older version of IE (deliberately because I didnt want to instal the latest IE for various reasons) that its a conspiracy by Microsoft to force me to install the latest version. Well....after reading up on various reviews on IE versus Firefox, I installed Firefox today and so far so good.


I would like to thank all the wonderful Deviants in here who over the last month have feature my work in their journals and also in news articles. You all know who you are and I thank you as always for your wonderful friendship and support.

In this journal, I have decided to keep with a theme as I have in my last few as people seem to like themes and they are a bit of fun for everyone.
Since tonight happens to be the longest night of our year downunder, being the Winter Solstice, I have decided to kick this feature off with most recognised Pagan symbol of Solstice being Stonehenge and showcase some wonderful creations and photos of the night.
