~...The locals had named it House of the Damned. They would all rather go out of their way than have to pass this horrid place.
Over the years, all of the previous owners who had taken residence in the house had all come to an untimely and mysterious end. This place was spoken about in hushed tones and it was said that on stormy nights the strains of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor played on a pipe organ [link] would be carried by the winds over the village. It was a place feared by all who knew of it. And so it was that it had laid empty for many years. Now a new owner had taken residence despite all the rumours and warnings which he dismissed with a wave of his hand.
