~...They were inseperable from birth, twins who shared everything together. Their toys, pets, likes and dislikes, totally inconsolable if either one was hurt. But Thomas was the one thing that drew a wedge between the sisters, and yesterday they had announced their engagement. Charlotte knew she had lost Cassandra to this outsider who had stolen her sister from her and decided there and then, if she couldnt have her anymore, then no-one else would either, she would ensure they would be together forever.

She had told Cassandra to meet her in the old chapel on the edge of the estate, together they would pledge with the drinking of the wine, that nothing would change between them no matter who came into their lives. Cassandra, not knowing the wine was poisoned, drank eagerly for she needed to show Charlotte that things would never change between them and as she swallowed the wine, she tasted the bitterness and felt the fire of the poison as it slid down her throat.....this is when Thomas found them.

Charlotte would forever be alone....~
